The gum oil print is an innovative method, developed by Karl Koenig in 1990, as an alternative way of making photographic prints. Hand-coated, heavy weight watercolor paper and oil-based artist ink are used to produce a textured monoprint. Joella F. Solus has been a fine art photographer in Skagit County for over 40 years. In that time, she has shown in all the major local galleries in the tri-county area and traveled the world.
